A Bit About the Artist

K. Scott Teeters has always had a love of automobiles and worked for many years for major toy manufacturers Tyco Toys and Mattel.  As a Senior Designer in the Preliminary Concepts and Design Group he sketched and rendered new toy concepts.  Scott also served as a Senior Designer/Product Manager for the Matchbox Collectibles Design Group where he designed 1:43rd scale collectible series of cars and trucks with brand licensing and managed each project through to available product.

His love of art and cars converged for good when he graduated from the Philadelphia College of Art Specializing in illustration design. An accomplished artist as well as author, Scott’s illustrations and writings can be seen in various automotive magazines including “Road & Track,” “Car & Driver,” “Super Stock,” “Vette Magazine,” “VW & Porsche,” “The Farm Journal,” and “Organic Gardening.”

He has been a contributing artist and writer since 1976 for “Vette Magazine,” a Corvette specialty publication. Since 1997 readers have looked forward to his monthly column for “Vette Magazine” that include over 115 installments of “The Illustrated Corvette Series” that includes illustrations and story copy covering the history of the Corvette. These are the very illustrations along with many other of Scott’s works that can be viewed and purchased.
