The following information is offered for care of Alternative Motivational Posters (AMP’s)

DELIVERY and CARE

Your AMP’s arrive at your doorstep. What do you do? Your first order of business is the vigilant removal of the AMPS’s from their tube. BE CAREFUL. It can be a bit tricky. We recommend using a dull knife or keys to pry BOTH END CAPS from the tube. Once open, DO NOT PULL the AMP’s out of the tube. You want to gently shake the tube in an UP & DOWN motion. The AMP’s will gently reveal themselves. Once the AMP’s are half way out of the tube, gently grab the AMP’s and pull.

Once the AMP’s see the light they will want to revert to their natural position of comfort. DON’T PANIC! This condition is perfectly normal. We recommend placing your new AMP’s face down on a flat surface. At this stage the AMP’s are feisty and they will resist. We recommend recruiting an assistant to help you place books atop the AMP’s on the corners and middle.

As with all AMP’s, they may FADE away from their full potential as they mature. To ensure a long trouble-free life we suggest applying a clear acrylic coating directly to the face. Such coatings provide a permanent, protective finish that guards your AMP’s from harmful influences. Coatings come in a variety of forms. Our favorite is a GLOSS coating. Since all AMP’s are uncoated, applying a gloss finish adds a subtle shine that produces more vibrant colors. Please carefully read all warnings and directions before applying any coatings to your AMP’s.

Nothing compliments AMP’s more than a structurally sound frame. There are countless options for framing: mat boards, glass, plexiglass, wood and metal frames.
